If you follow me on twitter then you should know that I have been complaining about my dry skin all winter. It happens to me every year, but I think I may have finally found a fix. My mom is always spending money on beauty and skin products and I’m always lurking to see what I need to cop for myself. I tried this Jergen’s Deep Conditioning Shea Butter for the first time around a month ago and loved it immediately. The only complaint that I had was that the product was so thick it was almost hard to rub in. Well I decided to try and mix it with my Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Gel to see how that would work. I’ve been using this gel off and on for a few years now, but it leaves my hands and skin feeling extra greasy when used alone.
Finally, after mixing the two together for application I was very impressed! The extra moisture from the oil locks in with the thickness of the cream so that they have the perfect texture when combined. They kept my skin hydrated throughout the entire day ,and I didn’t itch half as much as I usually would. I’ve tried the other creams and lotions they have in store like Aquaphor, Cetaphil, etc but I just hate how bland and boring they are. Call me crazy lol but I like to smell good! I definitely recommend that anyone else with dry skin try using these two products together. They smell great and they get the job done!
